As my husband and I started our journey for our family we came across many different ways to approach adoption. On July 16th, I received a call from a long time friend of mine Cathy. She had told me about her friend's referral service and told me to get in touch with them. She felt as this could answer our prayers. So I made the phone call that day. To my surprise I got a phone call right back and learned more about the services. On August 6th at 6:50 a.m. is when our dream came true. Terri kept in constant communication the entire time. MATTHEW: We contacted Terri on a Saturday night via email and told her we were ready to adopt. We had our Home study read, FBI prints done & ready to hear of any situations. Sunday morning we got a call from her telling us of a situation where the BM would deliver very soon. We were overwhelmed to say the least. This started our ball rolling. We talked to the attorney and BM on Sunday and were on the plane Monday and our son was born on Tues. Unbelievable. We would have never learned of this situation had we not sent that fated email to Terri on Sat night. We are indebted to Terri for helping us find our little chunk of LOVE. We found Baby Butterflys through a websearch and it was such a lucky day for us. Terri took a personal interest in us , showed respect for what we wanted, and found the perfect situation for us. We felt as though we had our own personal advocate in Terri and trusted her judgement completely. We got her call on a Monday, matched Tuesday, and were on the way to meet our new daughter, Charlotte,two days later. The match was flawless and we are completely in love. Hi it's me Charlotte Rose at 7months having fun.
Here is our journey............
I was still trying to get pregnant fall of last year. But everywhere I turned there was Adoption staring me in the face. I would turn to accupunture( for fertility purposes) in the Yellow Pages and see a LARGE AD for Adoption. So through out the day I would see ads for Adoptions. I ran into a friend I haven't seen in 4 years to be exact who had used the same fertility doctor before turning to adoptions.
So what I did is started looking around the florida area and saw and agency that appealed to me but I never called them. But hear I find out through Hands to Hold that Terri at Baby Butterflys has our daughter. My Attorney contacted me and hear this hold time this was the little girl I went for from the beiginning and agency that I never contacted. I was floored. Terri you have been amazing through all of this 3months ago I started looking for my baby girl and I found her through Hands to Hold who is wonderful who connected me to Terri at Baby Butterflys. There are no words to tell you how grateful I am of what you do. I will keep you and your beautiful family in my prayers.

Our Testimonial, Terri is a blessing that never gave up on us. My husband was laid off from his job when we started the Adoption Process so we had to back out of a match that Terri had found for us. I'Can't say enough about how wonderful Terri has been to us. I contacted Terri in January and we had our baby boy home in May. Everyone I know asks us how we adopted a baby so fast and I tell them about Terri and about the amazing works she does. She presented us with situations right away and was patient until we found the one that was right for us. We will be forever grateful to Terri for helping us adopt our precious son. I know that had I not called Terri it would have been a long and difficult wait. She made the process so much easier and was tremendous help. I felt Terri was my advocate, advisor, and friend. Terri & Jamie have helped us feel so much happiness as they brought us to our beautiful new addition Tyeesha Naomi she is the apple of our eye and gets dailey kisses from her brother & sisters. She is sooooooo cuddly and just so loved by everyone. We have been so amazed by her sweet nature. She been spoiled and is held most all long days by Dad, myself or older sisiters, brothers. Her cry is soooo sad no one can stand to leave her after the first whimper!!!!!!!!!!

He is such fun, such an easy going baby. We are so blessed. I was there for the birth (November 4th in Florida) and was able to cut the cord. Chris arrived shortly thereafter. Here is a photo of Fritz one week old. We are now back home in Portland getting settled in. I've been gone one month. Fritz came as quite a surprise. We received a call of a woman in Florida going into labor, and I jumped on a plane the next morning for Florida. Normally an adoption is lined up several months in advance between the birthmother and the couple adopting the baby. But thanks to Terri at Baby Butterflys to connect us with our handsome little boy. We are in heaven.
